Man shot dead along the Mt. Salem main road in St. James

An unidentified man believed to be in the early 30s was shot dead and a 42-year-old woman shot and injured along the Mt. Salem main road in St. James this morning.
The body is of brown complexion and about 178 centimetres (5 feet 10 inches) long.
Reports received by the CCN are that about 8:30 a.m., the man was walking along the roadway when a white motor car drove up. Occupants from the vehicle opened gunfire hitting the man several times before driving away. The woman who was nearby also received gunshot injuries. Both persons were taken to the Cornwall Regional Hospital where the man was pronounced dead and the woman treated and released.
The Montego Bay Police are investigating.

I am still in shock and can’t believe your gone…I just saw you a few months ago walking in the mall…I didnt believe when someone told me what happened…then I searched myself…and found it was true…I am truly sorry that ppl have used this page in a negative manner..rather then a postive outlet of memories,stories or just to send their condolences to your family and children.. I remember the first time I met you I was 11 years old and had a little crush on you lol….and even till this day I’d say you were always Barry’s good looking friend

WOW 15 YEARS AGO…. IT WENT BY SO FAST….THEN I HARDLY CAME TO THE CITY. JUST WANT TO SAY THANKS FOR BEING YOU!
