Austrian national reported missing
Thirty year-old Austrian National Christoph Eckerstorser of Algen Schlaegl, Austria who arrived in the island on Thursday, December 31 and was staying at Paradise Acres, St. James has been reported missing since Friday, January 1.
He is of Caucasian descent; however his height, build and mode of dress were not ascertained.
Reports from the CCN’s Liaison Officer for St. James are that on January 1, Mr. Eckerstorser complained of feeling ill and was reportedly taken to the Cornwall Regional Hospital by a female companion; who left him there. On her return she was told that Mr. Eckerstorser was treated and released.
Efforts to locate him have proven futile. A missing person report was subsequently filed with the police on Wednesday, January 12.
Anyone with information as to the whereabouts of Mr. Christoph Eckerstorser is being asked to contact the Montego Bay Police at 684-9080-5, police 119 emergency numbers or the nearest police station.
