Police seek mother of infant abandoned at bus stop in Linstead
The Linstead Police are seeking the public’s assistance in finding the mother of a child who was abandoned at a bus stop along the Bog Walk Main Road in Linstead, St. Catherine on Tuesday, December 29.
The CCN is reporting that about 6:00 p.m., residents found the child and contacted the police. The officers took the baby to the Linstead Hospital where she was medically examined and found to be in good health.
The mother of the child or anyone knowing her whereabouts is being asked to contact the Linstead Police at 985-2285, police 119 emergency numbers or the nearest police station.
