Police hunt Briggy
UPDATE:
John Markland otherwise called ‘Briggy’ and ‘Cootan’ was nabbed Sunday afternoon at the Norman Manley International Airport.
Investigators say he was attempting to flee the country.
THE St Andrew North Police Division has listed John Markland, otherwise called ‘Briggy’ or ‘Cootan’, as a major person of interest in the division.
Divisional investigators want to question Markland for incidents of shooting with intent in that division, as well as in the St Catherine North Division. Markland is a known member of the One Order gang.
Markland is being asked to contact the police as soon
as possible.
Persons knowing his whereabouts are asked to contact Police Control at 119; Crime Stop, 311; Operation Kingfish, 811 and the Constant Spring Police CIB at 924-1435.
