Massive ganja seizure in Falmouth
Over 1500 pounds of compressed ganja was seized by the Jamaica Defence Force Coast Guard at Falmouth Bay, Falmouth Harbour in Trelawny, on Sunday. No one was arrested in connection with the seizure.
Information received by the CCN is that about 5:00 p.m., during a routine check by the JDF coast guard, an old abandoned sail boat was seen. It was searched and the drug, totalling1654.2 lbs was found wrapped in rice bags at the hull of the vessel.
The Narcotics Police are investigating.
