Five shot, four fatally, firearm seized at port Henderson Road
Five men were shot, four fatally by gunmen at Port Henderson Road, Portmore, St. Catherine last night. A firearm was seized in the incident.
Dead are brothers, Kirk and Ricardo Thomas otherwise called “Bully”, both of Charlemont Drive, Kingston 6, David Wisdom of Lyndale Avenue, Kingston 20 and Andrew Walker of an August Town, Kingston 7 address. Injured is a man of a Kingston 6 address.
Information received by the CCN is that about 11:15 p.m., Ricardo who is the proprietor of the establishment was sitting at the bar with his brother and patrons at a dance when a group of men armed with guns, entered. The hoodlums opened fire at the group, hitting the men before escaping. Kirk, Ricardo, Wisdom and Walker died on the spot. The other man was taken to hospital where he is admitted in serious condition.
A search was carried out at the premises and a 9mm Smith and Wesson pistol serial number 6929, with 11 rounds of ammunition was found on the outside of the perimeter fencing.
The St. Catherine Homicide Unit is investigating.
