- Tivon Bradshaw was arrested.
Wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for first-degree murder
In October 2003, the victim, Abdus Shahid Decoteau, was with some friends at the Peel Pub bar in Montreal, where there was an evening of hip-hop and reggae music. As the bar was getting ready to close, Mr. Decoteau and his friends went outside, where they were joined by Tivon Bradshaw, with whom Mr. Decoteau had had an argument earlier on. Taking advantage of the crowd at the exit, Bradshaw pulled out a weapon and fired at Mr. Decoteau five times, hitting him in the head with three bullets. Then, he fled on foot, heading north on Grand St. in Montreal.
Investigators met with several witnesses who identified Bradshaw as the perpetrator of the murder. He is being sought on a Canada-wide warrant of arrest.
