Wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for Aggravated Assault.

Following a disagreement in a bar, Daniel Carl Ferris approached his victim outside and struck him with either a stick or a bottle. Ferris fled the scene and when police arrived the victim had one puncture wound to the chest and one to the neck that caused spinal cord damage. As a result of his wounds the victim is unable to walk. Prior to this incident, Ferris and his victim were not known to each other.

This assault is not a first occurrence. Ferris has a history of escaping lawful custody.
